I need hope

You do not have to know yet how everything will work out.

Pause for a moment and ask yourself: What do I need right now to get through to tomorrow?
And perhaps a gentler question: Could one small thing be enough for today?

Hope does not require certainty

Hope does not mean knowing everything will work out. Sometimes you do not even know what tomorrow will look like.

Still, you can leave a little room for the possibility that this moment is not the whole story.

Hope can be the decision to get up in the morning. A message to someone on your mind. A walk outside when you would rather stay in. Or a thought you allow yourself to believe just for today: perhaps something good is still to come.

A little light is enough

We often expect big things from hope. A clear direction, certainty, a new beginning, or the feeling that we have finally come through a difficult time.

Often, hope is much smaller.

It can be one person. One plan for next week. One good moment in a hard day. One thing you are not ready to give up on.

Small does not mean insignificant. Sometimes a little light is all you need to see the first step.

You do not need to see the whole journey

If you are in the midst of change, longing or grief, you do not have to build your whole future today.

Taking care of yourself for this moment is enough. Give yourself permission to rest, ask for help, miss someone, laugh or simply not know for a while.

Tomorrow can wait until tomorrow.

Hope does not promise that everything will change at once.

It reminds you that this moment is not the whole story.
