THE CROSSROADS<\/p>\n

Sometimes life does not ask you to know the answer. It simply asks you to notice that you have reached a point where the old road no longer continues quite as before.<\/em><\/p>\n\n

You do not have to work everything out at once<\/h2>\n

Many roads lead to a crossroads. After a separation. At the beginning of a relationship. When work changes, children grow up, your home grows quieter or you realise you have changed.<\/p>\n

Sometimes nothing dramatic has happened. Just a small feeling that has started following you: I do not want to carry on quite like this.<\/em><\/p>\n

It does not tell you where to go yet. It does not have to.<\/p>\n <\/section>\n\n

Reaching a crossroads is not a failure<\/h2>\n

We like straight roads. There is something reassuring about a beginning, a direction and a destination. Life rarely follows that kind of map for long.<\/p>\n

Sometimes changing direction means letting go. Sometimes it takes courage. Most often, it is a little of both.<\/p>\n

You do not have to be ashamed when something that once felt right no longer feels the same.<\/p>\n <\/section>\n\n

\n Pause for a moment and ask yourself:<\/span>\n What do I really want to move towards?<\/strong>\n And perhaps the harder question:<\/span>\n What might I need the courage to leave behind?<\/strong>\n <\/div>\n\n

Give your choice time to take shape<\/h2>\n

You do not have to try every road or open every door. Sometimes it helps to stay where you are for a moment and look calmly in both directions.<\/p>\n

What brings you peace? What makes you feel smaller? Where do you breathe a little more freely? Which thought brings a flicker of excitement alongside the fear?<\/p>\n

Often, direction emerges through small steps that begin to feel like your own.<\/p>\n <\/section>\n\n

\n You do not have to see the whole road.<\/strong>\n

It is enough for the next step to feel a little more like yours.<\/p>\n <\/div>\n\n
